La Tovaglia – Identità di un tavolo

Showcasing of “Ombra di vino” at the art and design exhibition “La Tovaglia – Identità di un tavolo”, sponsored by Soroptimist International Club Lecco and Walnuts Factory at la Quadreria Bovara Reina di Malgrate (LC). “Ombra di vino” is a tablecloth made of wine corks, combining together to form a mosaic made of memories and emotions. Each cap represents a convivial moment, the tile of a mosaic made of memories and emotions. The tablecloth tells the story of those who made it. The corks are cut and punched, then connected to each other by means of colored threads. To be developed alone or with those sharing the table, the project can grow in size with every bottle of wine drunk together.
