Showcasing of “Familia” and “Estro” at the event “RADICI – food memories” during Fuorisalone 2016. RADICI was born from the will to dig into the past and rediscover habits and customs rethought in a modern key. Through design, our past is brought to light: rituals intrinsic in our memory, traditions running into our blood, roots that inevitably remain connected to our motherland. A collection of objects, materials and shapes produced by young designers tells our story, our culture, our origins. “Roots”iis an activity conceived for the event: the guests actively took part in the tale of their origins, leaving “a piece of their roots”, among childhood recipes and actual pieces of roots.
